I Played For Me

 Book Overview

I Played For Me is a story told in poetry about a young women who was not of her own. Her present life was not the life she wanted anymore but, the price to change cost more than she wanted to pay.

She heard music seven years ago when she met someone that would change her life. She identifies him as music because he talked to her soul. Music found her broken. Her secret pain was hers to bare. She belonged to Blues because, the pain was real. After meeting Music, he left her stronger, and hurting. Allowing herself time to heal from music she meets Jazz, smooth, as the sound. Her walls were up, she was cautious, but he danced with her, he played for her, and bonded with her in way you could not imagine.

He was in her steps, and because she belonged to someone, he would never belong to her. Because, of this and rightfully so, she learned, she accepted that this time around she will play for herself.

Introduction

The last book of the sequel “He Played For Me”. Sometimes life journey is meant to be traveled alone. We often time don’t realize that until we have reached the end of our journey and realize the road is still going and our results are still the same we realize that all the things we picked up along the way changed or direction in life, or destiny, our feelings, made the load heavy to carry so therefore, it takes longer to reach who we are, and who we are meant to be.
